Horizons: an unseen landscapes
Horizons is a collection of Solarigraphics or solargraphs: pinhole photographs taken with a lensless pinhole camera and a long exposure ranging from one day to three months. The photographs were taken through an environmentally friendly process utilizing re-purposed pop cans as pinhole cameras and a chemical free process adding to the organic nature of the content. Each image in this collection has recorded the path of the Sun from September 21 through December 22 of 2010 culminating with the winter solstice. Horizons is the art of pinhole photography and part Space Art where the invisible movements of the Sun are made visible in illusive landscapes.
